In 2000, our first issue brief was research and compiled by Hawaii's Kid Watch Children's Budget Analysis and was entitled "A Wise Investment: Spending for Young Children". The brief covers school readiness efforts, programs that aid young children, the cost of early childhood programs and child care costs.
