Good Beginnings - Opportunities for Action

The success of quality early learning and care cannot depend on knowledge and information alone. Financial resources are essential to implementing effective projects. Hawaii’s corporate community and individuals can offer the early childhood education and care community needed financial support, as well as become a provider of valuable information.

In 2000, Good Beginnings launched the Hawaii Early Education Fund (the Fund).The Fund seeks to have widespread impact on Hawaii’s keiki by funding promising projects and by encouraging innovation. Each year, Good Beginnings asks members of the Hawaii Business Roundtable to contribute a minimum of $2,000 to the Fund. Additionally, proceeds from our fundraiser, An Evening for Hawaii’s Keiki, benefited the Fund.
