HCYC - ASK Core Areas

The ASK Core Areas describe standards for what everyone who works in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field needs to know and be able to do in order to meet the needs of young children and their families. The Registry uses the ASK Core Areas to establish training requirements for each Framework level. You can use the ASK Core Areas to assess your training needs. Directors may use the ASK Core Areas to evaluate staff performance and to create individualized or program training plans.
